The company was formed in February 1997 by Dave Hudson, a former IT Manager of many years. The main aims being to promote the use of computers and the internet by smaller companies or home based users and also to offer technical support to businesses wishing to expand their existing use of PC equipment by upgrading older machines, installing networks or simply solving day to day problems.
"As well as offering advice to people wishing to utilise computer equipment for whatever reason, we are able to supply and install equipment or upgrade existing machinery where necessary and provide any required training. We can assist in the transfer of paper based office systems to computer and offer advice on the most effective transition methods and most importantly, how to ensure smooth running by implementing effective data backup strategies and ensuring that equipment is regularly maintained.
We have the support of various local PC equipment suppliers and are able to offer tailor made equipment packages depending on a clients budget and requirements. We can also source and supply ex-demo and end-of-line PC systems, allowing us to offer exceptional packages for people who wish to enter the world of computers but cannot afford the full retail prices of such equipment.
The internet is becoming very popular with smaller businesses and we can advise on the best ways to connect (and provide any equipment/installation where necessary) as well as offering support for existing IT installations."
More recently, the company has become involved in the environmentally friendly disposal of older IT equipment, left behind when companies upgrade to ever newer technology. All equipment being recycled wherever possible.
Also, as Dave has a previous history in the pro-audio industry, and with computer equipment becoming more and more integrated with audio applications, we are now offering services and products relating to these areas.
And, with the ever growing popularity of online shopping, we have developed our own e-shopping centre bringing relevant stores together under one virtual roof.
